Braised Short Ribs
¼ Cup oat flour
Salt and pepper to taste
16 pieces bone-in beef short ribs
1 tablespoon olive oil
Carrots cut into large chunks
2 quartered red onions
1 cup red wine
1 can chicken broth
Fresh thyme
1 can chunky tomato sauce
In large saucepan, heat 1/8 cup of oil. Dip short ribs in flour and salt and pepper. Place ribs in hot oil and fry, turn only once. Brown both sides, then add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve with rice or mashed potatoes and veggies.
