spacer breadRanch Bread

6 cups warm Water
¾ cup Molasses
¼ cup Dry Yeast
4 cups Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
¾ cup Gluten Flour
3 ¼ cups Oat Flour
2 teaspoons Salt
½ cup Butter
1 cup Honey

Mix flours well.  Oil six loaf pans.  Combine warm water, molasses, and yeast in a bowl and set aside until foamy, about 10 minutes. 

Mix 3 cups of flour mixture, salt, butter, and honey in a large mixer with a dough hook, and place these ingredients into a bowl and mix by hand. 

Knead about 10 minutes, periodically adding more flour.  Mix until the dough is no longer sticky.  Place the kneaded dough into an oiled bowl and cover with a light towel.  Set in a warm, draft free location to rise until double in size, approximately one hour.

Punch the dough down gently, using your fist, then divide into six equal parts.  Shape into loaves, and place each in an oiled baking pan.  Let rise again until almost double in size. 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Bake bread for 40 minutes.  When done, remove bread from pans and cool on racks.
Smother with butter and devour...
