Dianne’s Famous Quiche

½ cup Heavy Cream
4 Eggs, beaten
3 to 4 cups your choice of grated Cheese
Any kind of Sautéed Veggies you would like to add-my favorites are spinach, mushroom, and tomato
Salt & Pepper to taste
Prepared Whole Wheat Pastry Shell (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°.
Bake pastry shell in a pie dish for 10 minutes. Or, for a low-carb recipe, don’t use a pastry shell; just spray olive oil spray onto a glass pie dish.
Add all veggies first, then add cheese. Cover with scrambled egg mixture leaving room at the top for the quiche to puff up. Bake for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. You can tell the quiche is done when it does not appear runny and does not jiggle.
Serve with a big green salad or use this as a breakfast. |
